i was fortunate enough to be raised under the assumption that life was too short to be unhappy when you woke up in the morning. It took me a few years, but I’ve now found my bliss. It’s here; in the rolling green hills of Southern VT. The sixth-generation to steward the land I am raising our seventh-generation boy with my (secret!) high school crush – now my partner, the love of my life, and my best friend – on my family’s organic dairy farm. Eli and I spend our days amongst the “moo moos!” while Dave follows his bliss; frame to finish innovative construction interspersed with designing and creating beautiful furniture with local lumber.

I have found the space in the Universe where all of my pieces come together as one. My adho mukha svanasanas are sporadic and generally take place in the damp grass before milking cows. I don’t drive a tractor as often as I used too, but I study them often with Eli who is fascinated with their wheels and likes to yell, “tat-ter!” gleefully.  And I am obsessed with the idea of living as organically as we can. For me, organic is a lifestyle.
